The test identified visual and kinesthetic and tactile as being the best learning styles for me. Visual learning means that I learn better when I see something written down or like pictures, anything that I can see I will be able to learn easier than if I were to hear it. So if I was taking notes on a lecture it would be easier if something was written down on a board. Kinesthetic and tactile means that I learn better with anything physical like having a paper or something to hold when I'm taking notes. I feel the test was pretty accurate because I do learn or study by using these learning styles.

I have used both of the learning styles in many different classes depending on what the class called for or how the teacher teaches. Like in Mr. Berg's class when he uses his overhead projector this helps me by creating something visual for me to use when taking notes. He also satisfies my need for kinesthetic and tactile learning by having us make flash cards this allows my hands to do something while I'm studying.
When I found out that flash cards worked for me, I have used them a lot to help me study. For my learning styles I think I could use many different techniques while studying that would help me to actually learn the material better. I think if I used a stress ball that my hands would be busy and would allow me to learn better. If I need something visual for when we're reading a book I might want to find some illustrations for it to satisfy my need for the visual part of studying. Or if in class and reading I could actually hold the book while reading it to keep my hands occupied.

I think it will be easy to adapt to this new style of studying since I'm not really changing the style rather than just adding to it to improve it. After asking many of my friends what learning styles they use most often I got some major similarities between most of them. Because we all have the same or similar learning styles it would be easier to study together because we could each use the same method of learning in a study group.
